IU Informatics Honor

IU Informatics Honor

On April 14th 2011 at the Woodstock Club in Indianapolis, IN, I had the distinct honor of being presented with the IU School of Informatics‘ annual Career Achievement Award. This award is part of a joint recognition program brought forth by the IU School of Informatics, the Dean’s Advisory Council, and the IU Informatics Alumni. As an 84’ graduate of IU, I have always valued and treasured the education and life experience I gained. Indiana University and Indiana as a state deserve a lot more credit when it comes to the world of high-tech, and I applaud the groundbreaking work the IU SOIC is doing to bring Indiana’s technology initiatives into the spotlight. I’m humbled and honored by this prestigious award, and look forward to the continued advancements tomorrow’s SOIC alumni will achieve. My accomplishments are all a credit in part to the imprint my experience at IU left on me, and I will continue representing IU in my projects and inventions today and tomorrow.
