Escient Technologies, LLC

At the end of 1999, Escient Technologies, LLC, was formed as a high-technology accelerator and management company that channeled promising new technologies into strategic positions in the marketplace. Its affiliated companies offered a variety of high-tech, user-friendly products, services, and technologies for home entertainment, data storage, and the Internet. While some of these companies previously served mainly the high-end market, they also developed products and technologies for the mass market.

SYNERGY
More than the sum of its parts, Escient Technologies promoted a synergy between its related companies, with one firm's cutting-edge technologies becoming an important part of another group's products and services. Each company became a leading force in its respective field, using state-of-the-art technology to make its products and services remarkably easy for consumers and partners to use.

GOODBYE TO ESCIENT NAME
After the 2003 sale of OpenGlobe, Escient Convergence Group, and all rights to the Escient name, Escient Technologies became ET, LLC. It closed Dec. 31, 2005.
