The ways in which we seek out knowledge have undergone some interesting twists as of late with the explosive growth of mobile phones and other untethered devices for accessing data. I recently had the pleasure of chatting with USA Today‘s Jefferson Graham who sought to explore the premise of Q&A services like ChaCha when it comes to meeting the needs of today’s information seeker.
This new breed of searcher is much more time-constrained, location focused, distracted and is far more likely to be in the midst of formulating a split-second decision. Q&A services aim to address the needs of this complex consumer, and Jefferson Graham takes a look at how well they are doing and what potential lies ahead. You can read Jefferson’s full commentary of our talk here.
